For 2010 the Subaru Legacy has been completely redesigned. It is a little wider, a little longer , and a more roomy interior but with the same boxer style engines and one of the best AWD systems on the market today. It is even better looking than it was before. The Legacy sedan has long been a good seller for Subaru and I predict it will do even better in the future. It is an ideal car for Colorado or any place where icy winter roads are a reality. We have a Forester and my Florida born wife doesn’t have any reserves about getting out in the snow now. She loves her Forester. The 2010 Subaru Legacy comes in 8 different trim levels and with three different engine options. The 2.5i has a 170 horsepower that has been the base engine in most o the Subaru models. The 2.5i Premium has the same engine but has a 10 way power driver’s seat and an 8 speaker Harmon/Kardon premium audio system. The 2.5i Limited has leather seats that are heated, the Harmon/Kardon premium audio system, dual-zone climate control and standard LinearTronic CVT transmission Step up to the 2.5 GT Premium and you get the 265 horsepower turbocharger 2.5 liter four cylinder and a standard six speed manual transmission. The 2.5 GT Limited would be my choice. It also has the 265 Horsepower turbocharged engine and the six speed manual with heated leather seats, dual-zone climate control and the Harmon/Kardon audio system. The Legacy 3.6R has the six cylinder horizontally opposed engine with 250 Horsepower engine and a five speed automatic. The 3.6 R Premium has the same features as the 2.5i Premium but with the bigger engine. The same with the 3.6R limited and the 2.5i Limited. The all new 2010 Subaru Legacy is one heck of a car and of coarse has Subaru’s legendary Symmetrical AWD. I have talked to many car people and even competitors all praise the Subaru AWD. It sure has worked well for us in all kinds of weather and we love our Forester. It has never failed to get us where we needed to go. Both of the engines in the 2010 Subaru Legacy are horizontally opposed engines The 2.5i has the I-Active Lift system and develops 170 horsepower at 5600 RPM The 2.5i and the 2.5i Premium have the standard six speed manual. The linearTronic CVT with six speed manual mode is standard on the 2.5i Limited and available on the other two models. This engine is rated as a Super Ultra Low Emissions Category:Home › Home • Will higher gasoline prices mean lower sales for new cars? — part 2 • Will higher gasoline prices mean lower sales for new cars? — part 1 • Should the crew of the Sea Shepherd board whaling ships? • Which makes a better pet: A dog or a cat? — part 13 • Grandparents: Can blogging chronicle your genealogy? • Which makes a better pet: A dog or a cat? — part 12 • Are teachers unions the cause of public school problems today? • Which makes a better pet: A dog or a cat? — part 11
